Carlin was one of the seminal social commentators of the past 100 years. He's easy to dismiss because his act is peppered with (intentionally) shocking and politically incorrect material, but his arguments are often as sound as they come. I'm glad to have lived in a time when he was here challenging old, mostly useless institutions with his unique brand of bullshit detection and annihilation. :excited:

Secular liberals love it when someone ridicules Christianity. Nevertheless, when someone calmly marshals facts in order to explain how the races differ in average intelligence and crime rates and why the differences are genetic, those same liberals become scandalized, intolerant, and incapable of thinking rationally.

Truth be told if you read up on George Carlin he was a devoted Christian, he was raised Catholic and had issues lets say with that particular church group, he did say in an interview shortly before his death that he believes in God and Jesus Christ, but doesnt like the ways the catholic church views. In his stand up he does make fun of religion but in the interview he said - Im christian, i dont put a label of a church on it, i believe in God and Jesus the savior- to which who ever was asking the questions said then why does your act consist of anti-religious matter, and George replied -Its stand up, not everything s true, your stetch things to make them funny, at the end of the day its about laughter it makes people happy, my views on the subject or any subject in my shows are for my act only, not everything is my view but hey if it gets laughs and makes people smile at the end of the joke then ive done my job-

Untrue. I don't know if he was or was not either christian or atheist. It matters not to me.
